The New Slim Fast!

Despite feeling sneaky, I didn't really care for the shake. It was one of those that was in the can...and well, it kinda tasted like the can....

 I love a good shake and found a few of the new flavors at my local Wal-Mart, including Creamy Milk Chocolate, French Vanilla, and Rich Chocolate Royale. Say no more! I grabbed a canister of shake powder in Rich Chocolate Royale! 

 

 

At 200 calories a shake (with skim milk), I was pleasantly surprised! There was no chemical or weird artificial sweetener smell to the powder. 

 

 

The directions indicated I needed to mix one scoop of powder with very cold milk. I had skim milk on hand and added it to my cup with the powder. It mixed really well with the milk and I was ready to give it a taste! My thoughts?

 

Very surprised! It was actually really good. I have an "issue" with the texture of most meal replacement shakes but this one had no gritty or slimy feel to it. No weird after taste and was quite filling. 

 

With the wide variety of shake and bar options that are now available with the 3-2-1 Plan, they make a great option for anyone on the go, especially during the holidays. Getting stuck at the mall, fighting crowds and traffic, or making long road trips make staying on track really difficult sometimes.  Throwing a meal bar or re-closable shake in your purse ensures you have a healthy meal on the go! In addition to finding them at Wal-Mart, the new products are also available at Target, Kroger, Safeway, and even Amazon.com! I love that more and more products are available through Amazon.com.
