About Me

I'm Allison. Born and raised in Oklahoma, married to my best friend, and mom to the light of my life. I am a full time working mom, Beachbody Fitness Coach, and social media addict. I am attending the Institute of Integrative Nutrition with emphasis on Holistic Nutrition and Wellness. I will complete the program in May 2013 and be registered with the American Association of Drugless Practitioners.

I love to cook, learn about the Lord I serve, and maintain a mostly healthy lifestyle. My greatest joy in life is helping other achieve their heath and fitness goals. You will find a mix of all my interests at Feeding My Temple, with cooking and food as a major theme.

Why I do I blog? It's a wonderful creative outlet for me. Blogging was something that was heavy on my heart for a long time. When I finally decided to try it (aka listened to God), I knew it was exactly what I was made to do. It really has just felt right since I started. I have met so many wonderful bloggers and readers who support and enjoy who I am.

My blog is Christian based and I conduct "blog business" in way that reflects my beliefs. I am so happy you are here and hope to hear from you soon!

This is Wise. :) My husband and partner through just about anything. He is truly the most genuine person I have ever met. He is the definition of "what you see is what you get". I have had the privilege of knowing him 3 and a half years and in that short amount of time he has changed my life in so many amazing ways. I was lucky enough to marry an amazing man who also happens to play guitar and sing like no other.

This is my world...Austin. He was born Summer 2010. Being his mom has shown me so many aspects of God that I thought I would never understand. Sooo sweet.

Good ol' Beau Dean. I have had him 6 years now. I picked him up at a shelter when I was living alone. He brought me a lot of hope and company during a horrible time in my life. Woman's best friend? Absolutely.

Sully is our other Boston Terrier. He, however has a weight issue. I say that, but I think he's just really a runt. He's very long and thin...and as you can see, not a lot of white in his fur. But we love him anyway. :)
